‘Cuts through the travel-writer verbiage’

RadioTimes

Sound the ‘blatant self-promotion’ klaxon.

Eddie Mair, the BBC’s journalist du jour (who this morning gave Mayor of London Boris Johnson an absolute roasting on The Andrew Marr Show) was apparently in Bucharest last week.

He wrote a short piece about his Romanian adventure here, a piece in which he quotes from and gives a rather nice plug to our day job Bucharest In Your Pocket, a publication he says: ‘has a knack of cutting through the travel-writer verbiage.’

Which is nice.

  1. His article is about the best I have read about Bucharest. The quotes from your guide good as well. When there I don’t get beyond the massage adverts but next go I’m going to read the articles.
